What Is the Graduate Trainee Programme?
The RT Graduate Trainee Programme is a three-month, intensive, fully remote learning and development initiative designed to find and build the next generation of young, vibrant professionals who will scale and multiply Resilience Technologies’ impact.
What sets this programme apart from a standard internship is its intentionality. Trainees are not brought in to do administrative busywork. They are placed on structured tracks, mentored by experienced professionals, and exposed to real work with real stakes. The programme runs from March 16 to June 19, 2026, and successful graduates are offered full-time employment contracts as Junior Associates at Resilience Technologies, with employment starting June 29, 2026.
It is also paid. Every trainee receives a monthly stipend of ₦150,000, paid at the end of each month — making this a fully compensated experience with no fees or costs to the trainee.
The programme is open exclusively to Nigerian applicants who are in the first 18 months of their careers.
The Three Tracks
The programme is structured around three distinct specialisation tracks. Applicants choose one based on their background, skills, and career goals.
Track 1: Tech & Security This track is for those who want to build a hands-on technical career in cybersecurity. By the end of the three months, trainees will be prepared to enter the workforce as junior security analysts. To be eligible for this track, you need a background in cybersecurity — whether academic, professional, or self-taught — and you must be a fast learner who thrives in technical environments.
Track 2: Programs & Operations This track prepares trainees for career roles in project coordination and operations support. Track 3: Communications & Marketing This track is for storytellers and creatives who want to shape how a mission-driven organisation communicates its work. Trainees will support professional written and visual communications across internal and external channels. By the end of the programme, trainees should be confident producing brand-aligned content that supports RT’s priorities and engagement. Requirements include strong written communication skills, solid design skills (Canva or similar tools), and the ability to tell creative, purposeful stories. Video or motion graphics skills are a bonus.
Eligibility: Who Can Apply?
Before choosing a track, every applicant must meet the following baseline eligibility criteria:
You must be a graduate of a recognised institution with a minimum degree classification of a Second Class Lower (2:2). You must have completed the NYSC programme — those still serving are not eligible. You must not be older than 27 years at the time of application. You must be in the first 18 months of your career.
