If you are among the over 2.2 million candidates preparing for the 2026 UTME, there is one thing you need to do before exam day that many candidates are currently overlooking — check your exam slip again. Not because you haven’t printed it, but because the centre written on it may no longer be valid.
JAMB has officially delisted 23 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres ahead of the 2026 UTME, which is scheduled to run from April 16 to April 25, 2026. Candidates who were originally assigned to any of these centres will find that their centre details have changed. If you printed your slip before this announcement and have not checked it since, you may be heading to the wrong location on exam day — and that is a situation no candidate can afford.
WHAT MADE THIS DECISION
The story begins with the 2026 Mock UTME, which held on March 27. Out of the 224,597 candidates who registered for the mock, only 152,586 were able to sit the exam across 989 CBT centres nationwide. The reason the rest couldn’t write is straightforward — widespread technical failures hit numerous centres on the same morning.
In many locations, candidates arrived early, waited patiently, and still could not write the exam because the systems simply did not come online. Hours passed with no resolution. The frustration that followed was understandable, and social media quickly filled with videos and complaints from candidates and parents who felt the exam body had failed them.
JAMB initially released the mock UTME results on March 31 and delisted 20 centres affected by the failures. However, after a deeper internal review, the number was updated to 23 centres spread across 11 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
HOW MANY CENTRES ARE AFFECTED AND THIR LOCATION
The delisted centres span the Federal Capital Territory, Abia, Anambra, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, and Plateau states. That is a wide geographic spread covering some of Nigeria’s most densely populated examination zones.
Beyond the 23 delisted centres, JAMB’s spokesperson Fabian Benjamin also confirmed that 89 additional centres received official warnings, and one centre has been permanently barred from participating in any future JAMB examinations.
HERE IS A STATE-BY-STATE BREAKDOWN OF THE DELISTED CENTRES:
ABIA — Micben ICT Hall, Ukwa West
ANAMBRA — Bishop Crowther Seminary CBT Centre, Awka; The Oracle Lens, Nnokwa
BAYELSA — Derby’s Young ICT Centre, Yenagoa
DELTA — Avid ICT Solutions CBT Centre, Asaba; Brightfield School CBT, Ekpan; Conarina Maritime Academy, Abraka; Daniet Global Resources (listed under Edo border area)
EDO — Daniet Global Resources, Benin City; Moses and Grace College of Health Sciences CBT Centre, Benin City
FCT, ABUJA — De-Lite CBT Centre, Maitama; Zulqud Consult Ltd CBT Centre, Lugbe
LAGOS — Florin High School, Ejigbo; Folbob CBT Centre, Ibeju-Lekki; Great Kezino College CBT Centre, Ikorodu; Obans CBT Centre, Ikorodu; Teesas Learning and CBT Centre, Lekki
OGUN — Braingate Model Schools CBT Centre, Ijoko; Greenhills Academy, Itele

PLATEAU — Rabjib Computer Academy, Jos
If your name was originally assigned to any of the above centres, JAMB has already reassigned you to a different, approved centre. Your new details are on your updated examination slip — which is exactly why you need to reprint.
WHY REPRINTING YOUR SLIP IS NOT OPTIONAL RIGHT NOW
Candidates without the printed slip will not be allowed access into the examination hall under any condition. That is JAMB’s position and it is not negotiable. But beyond just having a slip, what matters even more right now is having the correct and most current version of that slip.
Think about it this way — if your original slip showed Folbob CBT Centre in Ibeju-Lekki as your venue, that centre no longer exists in the 2026 UTME system. Showing up there on exam day with an outdated slip gets you nowhere. Your new assigned centre is on the updated slip, and you will only know where that is by reprinting.
JAMB has advised candidates to verify all details on the slip — including their assigned centre, date, and time — before examination day. For candidates in the affected states, this is not just advice. It is the difference between writing the exam and missing it entirely.
How to Reprint Your JAMB 2026 Examination Slip
The process takes a few minutes and can be done from any phone or computer:
- Visit the official JAMB website at www.jamb.gov.ng
- Click on “2026 UTME Slip Printing”
- Enter your JAMB registration number, email address, or phone number used during registration
- Click “Print Examination Slip” — allow pop-ups so the PDF can open
- Download the slip as a PDF
- Print at least two physical copies — one for exam day and one as backup
If you run into any issues on the portal, visit an accredited cyber café or a registered CBT centre near you for assistance. Do not attempt to use any third-party website that is not jamb.gov.ng — several fake portals are currently circulating online.
A Word on the Fake Postponement Notice
While all of this was unfolding, a fraudulent press release began circulating online claiming that the 2026 UTME had been postponed. JAMB responded swiftly, stating clearly that the notice is fake and did not emanate from the board, and that all arrangements for the 2026 UTME remain on course as scheduled.
The exam is still happening from April 16 to April 25, 2026. Do not let misinformation distract you from the very real and urgent task of confirming your examination details.
Do This Right Now
With less than a week to the start of the 2026 UTME, this is the single most important action you can take today: go to www.jamb.gov.ng, reprint your examination slip, and confirm your centre, date, and time.
Do not assume the centre you were assigned one week ago is still your centre. Do not assume that because you already printed once, you are done. Check the slip again. Confirm the address. Visit the location physically if you can, so exam morning holds no surprises.
Goodluck…
